The Garga Samhita enhances the site's significance by stating that this auspicious day is considered the birth of Balarama.

wheel fell here during a bloody fight between Deva and Asura. The soil sank as a result of the collision, creating this hallowed kund, which is a space formed by supernatural intervention rather than just an architectural construction.
