Vikrant Bhairav Temple in Ujjain is dedicated to Lord Bhairav in his child form, a unique and powerful manifestation. Situated near a cremation ground, this temple is regarded as a spiritual refuge for those seeking siddhis. Devotees visit to fulfil personal desires, and its ancient importance is even mentioned in the Skanda Purana, reflecting its deep-rooted heritage. Located about six to seven kilometres from Mahakali Shohd Temple, the temple is tied to legendary stories of King Vikramaditya and Vetala, with the Siddheshwar tree standing as a witness to these tales. The south-facing idol highlights its mystical energy. Though very old, the temple was rediscovered in 1960 by Baba Dabral, who performed the first Diwali deep prajwalan, revitalising its significance for devotees
